I'm glad you put the title that you did because I might have passed this by without thinking about how carefully this kind of shot has to be prepared in order to get the result so three-dimensional.
It was a really quick shot as I was stuck for ideas yesterday... I just put an origami butterfly on a sheet of white paper and pointed my desklamp at it lol. I've become obsessed with trying out pics of ordinary things with the different lighting in my house since I started this project :)
