Well... blinking light of glory... I've taken this shot before, way back at the start of my project in 2016 when I first discovered light painting, so I thought I'd recreate it.
And that's the final shot for April's 30 Shots Challenge! A big thanks to @annied for hosting this challenge again, it was great fun :) The thing I've enjoyed most about it both times I've done it is that I genuinely had no idea how I was going to come up with 30 shots of the same thing at the start of the month - it really gets the brain cells working lol.
I was also using this challenge as a chance to make friends with my Sony A5000, which I've had for a couple of years but I've always had a few gripes with... I did use it for most of the 30 shots, and I did become more familiar with it, as well as learning lots of cool stuff about it that I hadn't really explored before, like in-camera selective colour, scene settings and picture effects. Also finally set up the remote control app to trigger the camera from my phone, which I hadn't bothered doing before.
I still have the same gripes with having to dig around in multiple menus to change settings, and the annoying habit it has of de-focusing once you've hit the button... but overall, me and the Sony are getting along a bit better now :)
