I almost forgot about this, so it's a purely documentary and totally un-artistic shot of what I was doing at 5.47, and a little behind the scenes of what's usually on my desk!
Laptop connected to the desktop monitor to check on those colour variations, my oil on water set-up with my little tablet to provide background colour (tip - put some dish soap in the water before adding the oil to get more definition in the droplets), and various fluffy chicks, marbles and other assorted photo props. And a tin of coffee because, well....coffee.
