This is one of three cats dropped off eight years ago. She bonded more with my dogs than me. I think she believes she is a dog, so I don't tell her any different.
Margaret, your comments are too kind. No I do not do any professional writing, though I do enjoy it. This project has been a motivation, and actually, Carolyn is the one that inspired me to give it a try. I followed her short story that she did recently, and so I thought I'd give it a try.
I love her name. And that she thinks she's a dog, which is so wonderful. I had a dog that wanted to be a bird so badly. Although Cloud never thought he was a bird, he would gaze longingly at them as they flew about. But he never chased them. He always had to perch somewhere, like the back of the couch, or top of the stairs. And he loved birdseed. And you could just tell he wanted to be a bird. But enough about me...Your photo is meowvelous. Only, don't tell her I said so.
Seriously beautiful cat -I love this and the story - it's just reminded me I must go and feed the neighbour's cat! He's called asbo - an Abysinian, all beauty, no brains. Thanks Margaret. I think the same thing about their ultimate extinction in the wild and that belief helps me enjoy them at a great place like our zoo. It is also a way to help kids appreciate their beauty and power. Thank you for the great compliments.
@justkariherself Don't you just love cats. They are so strange. Thanks for the kind words and I won't tell her she's a cat. She has two identical sisters, but they have put a little weight on so it's easier to tell them apart now.
Now that is so great her thinking she is a dog. usually dogs and cats don't get along. Like to thanks you for your comment. yes I'm fine for now. follow up is planed just have to wait for an appointment to get to what they called Chest Pain Clinic.. (had no pain by the way but I didn't mention that this was the second time. the first time it happened it was not so severe as this time ..it was about 2 years ago. the Doctor at that time said it could happen again tomorrow, in 10 years or never.
I guess they don't know what might bring this on.
