I take close ups to study each detail for painting. I have pictures of noses, paws, mouths and expressions. I find the details fascinating.

Beautiful shot, great composition. We always think of tigers as being all striped, but this draws your attention to the surprising facial markings.

. @geertje I shot right through the glass. I was in reality about 1 foot away, separated by some thick glass.
@sytse Kathleen, I have two cameras that I use. Both Canons. This one was the point and shoot, the other is Canan Digital Rebel XT.I love both, but use the first most often for this project because it is so convenient.
