Oh my. I seen this thing and just loved it. What the heck is it? It is some kind of ornamental whatever at the zoo. Long stems and this business on top. About 2 foot tall.

Gorgeous comp! It might be a spent Allium, but I always cut mine down before they reach this stage so can't be sure! I'd stick with "FooFoo"!

Awesome shot! A dried up allium, like several others suggested, would be my guess too. Firecracker foo-foo has much more character tho!

I wish you could be here Maggie. You would love the country, the sea, the cliffs, the ruins. It is so fabulous. I love where we are staying and have seen so much natural beauty.
