Huh? by maggie2

Huh?

What the heck is Got Sapper? This will drive me crazy until I find out, or make up something I can live with. :-)

Thanks everyone for all your kind words. I really do appreciate them.
A military engineer who lays or detects and disarms mines.

I'm thinking World of Warcraft reference. http://www.wowwiki.com/Sapper
I've been laying low on 365, had a stressful time last August and all my shots were starting to look the same. Decided some time off was in order, just got a scanner so I may start posting old shots till my photomojo returns. I'll still lurk and post comments occasionally. Glad to see you and Wolfie survived Nemo. Cheers!

Here is what i got on a military website: In the U.S. Army, Sappers are combat engineers or other personnel who support the front-line infantry, and they have fought in every war in American history. A sapper may perform any of a variety of combat engineering duties. Such tasks typically include bridge-building, laying or clearing minefields, demolitions, field defenses as well as building, road and airfield construction and repair.
But why would anyone want to know if you had a sapper?

@robv Good to see you Robert. I hope the stress has eased. I know how you feel about shots looking the same. That happens to me too. I love your shots and am just glad all is well. Thank you for answering my question.

@mike_todd Thank you Mike. What an odd thing to put on a sign in a parking lot at a park.

Interesting. A sapper is an army engineer..not sure I'd want one though - certainly not for life!

Hey, have you ever been to Strong Hearts? It's a vegan restaurant in Syracuse. I think you should go sometime and tell me how it was! ;-)

PS: I once dated a sapper. He was quite scary! :-O
