29 November - I came home from work today with a headache so Maggie and I hit the recliner for a nice nap, fully planning to get up and have pizza ready for Marvin when he got home from his "pitching-in-for-a-friend" coaching gig. Oops! When he got home I was out like a light so he baked the pizza and brought mine to me while Maggie and I were still crashed in the recliner. I am daily thankful for this man in my life, and nights like this are among the many reasons why... not only for spoiling me, but for being the kind of person who is always there to help out friends with his time, skills or whatever else is needed.
