For a while today it looked and felt like a lovely Spring day. So I thought I would make use of the wonderful blue sky, however what I tried did not really come off, need to try again. So I have decided to go with this Canada Goose (Branta canadenis) gracefully swimming around the pond in one of the local parks. Although he looks pretty, they do make a mess and can be noisy and aggressive.
I agree about the noisy messy aggressive part. I can see why small children develop a fear of birds having witnessed geese chasing down a toddler to steal their snacks at the local lake. Beautiful capture of the water and the feathers on his back.
