Stood on Aviemore station looking North awaiting the arrival of the train from Inverness. Normally I can get back on just two trains, for reasons I won't go into, I had to take the scenic route and this was the first of four trains today. The upside was I travelled First Class as it was the cheapest way to go !!!
@juliesviewoflife Thank you Julie, yes it is quite a nice little station, it appears to have most of the original fittings from when it was built years ago. The two tracks you can see are used by the main intercity trains, to the right is another platform and line which is used by the Strathspey Railway to run old coal fired steam trains several miles up the line.
