BLURRY BOBBY

Myself and two friends drove to Conway, got the fast bikes out of the car and cycled up to Llanrwst. We headed then towards the A5 near Betws-y-Coed, we were now on the route of the 2013 Tour of Britian, a couple of hours ahead of the riders. Turned left at Capel Curig and started climbing, as we climbed the steep Pen-y Pass we were cheered by the waiting crowds. Soon we reached the summit and had a lovely long, fast drop in to Llanberis and the finishing line for todays stage. We found a spot about 150 metres from the finish and watched Mark Cavendish scream past at about 55mph to win the bunch sprint. While we waited for the riders we watched lots of Police motorcyclists and other outriders reaching the end. After watching the presentation we headed for Bangor, but traffic was rather slow so I rode down the centre of the road to get through. As I reached the junction a Police motorcyclist put his motorbike across it to block the road, but he did not actually signal that he wanted everything to stop. I ignored him and popped out on to the main road and found myself in a convoy of of about 30 Police motorbikes, my own little escort out of Llanberis. Unfortunately I could not keep up with them once we left the village.
I have noticed something strange about this shot, the motorbike is blurred because of his speed but his shadow is sharp like the background. Not sure how you get a blurred shadow but surely his shadow must be traveling as fast as his bike ?
Love your diary of events ---took every corner & steep hill with you !!!!! No answer to your query re bike & shadow --it is strange
