BRITAIN"S SMALLEST BIRD by markp

BRITAIN"S SMALLEST BIRD

Sitting in the garden taking pictures and I heard a noise I could not immediately identify, I knew I knew it but could not place it. Looking around I spotted something very small flitting around the bushes. I knew then that the Goldcrests had returned. I have had a pair of these in the garden for quite a few Winters and even one Summer. Despite being very small they normally are very trusting, one pair let me get my face about 12 inches from them as they fed in the bushes. Hope this years pair are as friendly. Another bird from the garden today in my other album.
