COAL TIT by markp

COAL TIT

I had a few ideas for something different today, but was a bit pressed for time, so had a sit in the garden.Along with all the regular suspects, a pair of these Coal Tits (Periparus ater) put in an appearance. The white flash on the back of the head is an easily spotted distinguishing feature. American 365ers might spot a similarity to their own Chickadees, and in fact they are closely related. Another view is in my other album today.
