DIFFERENT IN GREY by markp

DIFFERENT IN GREY

This in case you did not recognise him in B&W is a Robin, I have posted lots of Robins recently so thought I would do something a bit different today, and I think you might agree he does look different. Now either I have been very unobservant or this Robin is a new one in the garden. Now, I hear you ask, how can he tell one Robin from another one? Quite easily I answer, because, although it is not very evident in this shot but he has got a ring on his right leg. I have not noticed that before and looking back at my photos of the garden Robins I can't see a ring on any of the others. If he stays around I can name him Ringo Starr. My other album today has a more colourful garden visitor again.

He looks completely different in b&w - in fact I think I would have struggled to identify him. Without the colour his eye becomes more prominent.

Very different in grey, I had to look twice before I realised it was a robin.
