DEFUNCT LIGHTHOUSE by markp

DEFUNCT LIGHTHOUSE

This is Hale foreshore on the River Mersey, looking west towards Liverpool. The old lighthouse is now part of a private house. This tower was built in 1906, to replace one built in 1838, the light was de-comissioned in 1958.
Nice b/w...lovely textures.

Imagine having a lighthouse in your home - getting away from it all!

I visited this place myself not to long back. I like you shot, great POV. Looks very gritty and bleak,

Quite nice in black and white - like the approach to the lighthouse.
