The Fairies have been a bit down of recent, and rather off with me after I inadvertently ate their homes. If you missed the sad and sorry tale there is a link at the bottom.
However in the last few days I have begun to see a change in them. They seem much more active and far more happier, and they have been flying around, back and to into the kitchen. They seem to be hovering around the cupboard where the Monsters sweets are kept, but it was only today that I discovered what they have been up to.
They appear to have forsaken the cold and wet, and frankly very vulnerable mushroom houses and have been building a new one. It is upstairs in the spare room, on top of the wardrobe, well out of the way of hungry people.
They have also decided to use some nice colourful bricks to construct this new house, they have been raiding the boxes of Liquorice Alsorts, in the Monsters Cupboard.
In fact it was when I spotted two of the Fairies struggling to fly up the stairway carrying a big lump of Liquorice that I realised what they where up to.
We will have to wait and see how this house develops and whether anybody decides it might look like at tasty little titbit.
