This was one very angry Canada Goose. With much wing flapping, hissing, tongue sticking out, bitting, and actual fighting, he was marking out his territory to all comers.
By the way, watching a goose stick its tongue out is quite funny to watch.
The pattern on the water in front of him, is caused by his flapping wings.
@neatz Thank you Anita, I didn't have to wait, I had been around the area for about an hour. But as I walked back towards the car, I heard the commotion, and looked around and he rose up off the water.
It was more of a case of being in the right place at the right time, and being quick ( lucky) enough to get the shot.
