So I have found a small herd of young Highland Cattle nearby. Also in the field was this little white pony. Watching the antics between them, she seemed quite capable of holding her own against the cattle.
I don't know how it is with cattle but with horses it is the attitude and temperament that seem to matter, more than the size, when it comes to dominance.
