I found a pair of Long Tailed Tits today, very busy building a nest. It was in an evergreen bush of some kind, I couldn't get really close, as there was water in the way. However it was just possible to see as each bird arrived, the movements of the birds as they weaved together the nest.
Like a lot of things this year, it seems very early.
it is a really lovely composition with the arching branch above the bird, and the pops of red in the bush - quite apart from that beak full of bulding materials.
