A Coot about to vanish beneath the water in search of food, this took quite a lot of shots to get. They sit in the water and give no clue at all that they are about to leap into the air and dive down. I have a lovely collection of shots showing just the tip of the tail as it vanishes and also a lot of holes in the water, one or two with editing might even class as water crowns. For the Robin lovers out there, my main album today has a shot of one.
A fantastic stop motion shot! The triangular space between the Coot and its reflection draws the eye right in. Kudos on a well timed fantastic shot. Fav.
