SNOWY MOUNTAIN by markp

SNOWY MOUNTAIN

This was taken during my wanderings in Scotland recently, this is at about 2,700 feet on the slopes of Carn Ban Mor which tops out at over 3,000 feet. The path up sort of follows the slope across the middle of the picture. There is no sense of scale in this again, the other peak in the centre is actually quite a long way away. There is a lot of snow up there as well, the dark white triangle, centre left in the picture, runs down into a wide gully, and the snow depth is visible, it was well over 30 feet deep, that is a lot of snow. Elsewhere, I had no idea just how deep the snow was under my feet.
My other album today features an alien invader.
