ADVERTISING A WARM AND FRIENDLY WELCOME !

For this weeks ONS, todays subject is advertising, and I must be honest I struggled to get my head around the subject. This is the best I can come up with. This is actually on the car park of a local business, obviously they have never had lessons in customer care !!
Is it necessary to say something is a Forklift truck instead of a Forklift? :)

By any chance is this a wide-angle lens? Seems to bend some--just wondering.

@darylo Thanks Daryl, a Forklift/ truck is one of those machines that whizz around factories / warehouses with the two large prongs (forks) on the front. used for lifting and moving shipping pallets around. Don't know if you call them something else across the water.
No wide angle, a lazy shot. Quite high up so you can't miss it, I used a zoom and stayed sat in the car, so yes it is a bit distorted.
Maybe I was safer sat in the car so they could not lift me away, Lol.

Here we just say Forklift. So same machine/same everything you mention, but we don't add the word truck. But we do say dump truck, fire truck, cement truck. But we just refer to the forklift "truck" as a forklift. :)

@darylo Arrh, the wonders of the English language. We sometimes just say Forklift and have dump trucks but they are not the same as yours.
I think your dump trucks are what we call Dustbin Lorries, we have Fire Engines, and Cement Wagons. Our Dump trucks carry sand or rubble etc.
Isn't it nice to share a common language. Lol.
