The Goldcrest is getting tamer, I was out filling the feeders and he came and hopped around the feeders and bushes, at times less than 12 inches away from me. he just seemed not bothered by my presence at all. Of course I did not have my camera out there with me, when I was out later he was a bit harder to shoot, but I am working on getting a nicely posed shot, off the feeders.
Seen at such close quarters, you can really see what such a tiny delicate bird he is, his beak is like a needle and his legs don't seem strong enough to hold him up.
