SOLDIERS

For this weeks Mundane Challenge - Bread, some soldiers on sentry duty next to the boiled eggs.

For viewers around the world, I better explain as this might be a purely British tradition.
Long thin slices of bread or toast, buttered or not, made to be dipped into your soft boiled eggs are commonly called Soldiers.
I love this.... Next time I make googey eggs and soldiers for my grandson, I must do this.

This might enchant the children and is certainly more obvious for the word soldier! I love this dish - could eat it three times a day!
