A large bunch of Pyracatha berries, if you look at the top of the stem you can see where the Blackbirds or Squirrels have started feasting on them.
Not sure but maybe the cold weather might be on its way. I have seen several flocks of Thrushes, probably Fieldfares and Redwings, not hanging around, just heading due South. Maybe they know something we don't.
