HEADING FOR WATER

These two Common Blue Damselflies appear to have mated successfully and were now with difficulty making their way down the stem towards the water, where they will lay their eggs. The eggs will hatch into nymphs which will live underwater till they are ready to emerge and become Damselflies.
Neat biology lesson - wonderful close-up.
