FINAL RESTING PLACE by markp

FINAL RESTING PLACE

I spotted this in September on the Isle of Barra. I have posted it on here before, but its Camera Club Competition time next week and I thought it needed a little something else. So I have done a little bit of creative editing.
Still think the judge will pick up on the dark shadow on the left.

Here is a link to my original post, if you would like to compare the two images.......

You've pushed the contrast a little farther than I would have, but it is not an unpleasant result for this subject. It's starting to lose its "natural" look though.

Beautiful find! I agree with @mwerner on the contrast. However, the deep shadow on the left, to me, is appropriate since its beaches and provides an anchor to the beached boat, in my mind, if that makes sense, like the depth of it?

@mwerner Thank you for critique Mike. I think that is what I was looking for. This month is a digital competition, and I wanted it to leap off the large screen. The original in my opinion, looked a bit flat, the judges see a lot of images and I wanted something different.
I'll let you know how it gets on next week.
