@gardencat The answer is yes. Maybe thirty minutes drive time. It's a Wildfowl & Wetlands Trust place. You might have heard of the first one set up in the sixties (?) by the well known Sir Peter Scott at Slimbridge. He also helped establish the WWF.
They now have nine across the U.K. It's a very large reserve that attracts thousands of wild swans, geese and ducks etc in winter. There is also a very large collection of captive birds from around the world, including some very endangered ones being used in breeding programs.
It was the W&WT that helped save the Nene ( Hiawian Goose) from extinction when down to about 55 birds.

How fortunate to be located that near to such a large reserve. I’m glad that you share the pictures here so I get to see some of that wildlife, at a distance, at least.
