This waterfall is very well hidden off the main path, deep in a thick conifer plantation. I only found it by hearing the tremendous roar of the water over the rocks, and going off to see what was in there.
It is very difficult to get a good viewpoint, it is very dark, surrounded by very tall trees, and is full of swirling spray. Everything is soaking wet, including me and camera within minutes.
This was taken on a really bright sunny day, but apart from the couple of highlights where the sunlight had fought down through the trees it was really almost like a winters evening in there.
