UNLUCKY BIRD ? by markp

UNLUCKY BIRD ?

According to the old nursery rhyme, its not good luck to see just one Magpie.

One for sorrow,
Two for joy,
Three for a girl,
Four for a boy,
Five for silver,
Six for gold,
Seven for a secret,
Never to be told,
Eight for a wish,
Nine for a kiss
Ten for a bird
You must not miss.

Thank you all for taking the time to view, and for leaving your lovely comments and Favs on my recent posts.
Lovely shot, and a delightful rhyme to go with it!

Seen one most mornings lately out my window in the tree, havent got a pic yet. Rarely see more than two together, thats why I havent learnt the rest of the rhyme.

That's a lovely shot of this magpie as they have terrific eyesight and usually fly at the first sign of someone coming - Fav

I have a pair which visit my garden most days but they don't have the wonderful blue plumage of this one!
