Day 14: Covenant

Matthew 26:26-29
During the meal, Jesus took and blessed the bread, broke it, and gave it to his disciples: Take, eat. This is my body.

Taking the cup and thanking God, he gave it to them: Drink this, all of you.
This is my blood, God’s new covenant poured out for many people for the forgiveness of sins.

“I’ll not be drinking wine from this cup again until that new day when I’ll drink with you in the kingdom of my Father.”

@vignouse @milaniet Thank you both so much. I am so glad that you are enjoying them. It is a hard challenge, and the pictures I take are not always perfect, but in this case, that does not matter. It is the teaching, learning and blessing I am getting from this challenge far beyond the picture itself.

Very well done, when I saw this word my mind went first to the old testament and the covenant God made with Moses.

@stephanies When I first saw the word I thought of Noah, but it was pouring rain here in Maryland and there were no rainbows to shoot a picture of :)
