I lived along this boulevard for about a year and have always loved the view of the village look at the back of Rotterdam Central Station (not in the picture, maybe some other time). The closer you get to the entrance the more bikes you'll have to encounter until there is no walking space left.
The city council would really like to do something about the proliferation of bikes but as always, they can only come up with stupid ideas, doomed to failure.
See the line in front of the bikes? It may not be crossed by one inch. The bike on the right is violation this rule and risks being towed away. Although I believe a judge ruled otherwise lately.
