Yep. With a little more time I would set the poles of the pier straight too. And perhaps set the horizon exactly in the middle.
This is how I did it. copy image in new layer; make canvas 2 times bigger so you can see what you're doing while editing perspective; start perspective; shorten the left side with the upper or lower corner a bit; stretch the right side until the pier and the horizon are aligned. The bring your mouse/cursor to 1/3 or 2/3 of the right side and skew your image until the lines are straight; finish perspective; crop image to max size; now it's quite wide, I did a little resizing making the image a little less widescreen... To straighten the pole you can do the exact same horizontally. Good luck, if you decide to try.
