Started out with a flash, but didn't dig it that much so went back to yesterday's set up. I spent a lot more energy trying to get the original image in focus. I didn't entirely succeed, but it is a lot better.
I processed the image in photoshop afterwards, including fixing the colour balance (again, it was really yellow) & sharpening & saturating the eyes. But I felt like I had more to work with today.
Lots of swishing hair outtakes for me to short through later, too! :)
PS, I commissioned someone to make that necklace for me. It features eight one-line poems I wrote out of fridge word magnets. In some of the other shots they are in better focus and provides interesting contrast to the skin.
@rachelwithey Thanks Rachel! Just starting to explore that technique. I feel like it will have some interesting possibilities once I wrap my head around it more!
Thanks @rafesmar ! Yeah, that necklace makes me happy. I had it created for an Audrey Hepburn-esque photo shoot I did awhile back. Modeled after her famous pearl necklace, but instead it features tiny pearls of wisdom! haha
