Who made the popular page? I DID!

Thanks to Paula @pwallis for pointing out that my hummingbird shot from a few days ago made it to the popular page last night. And thanks to @tenortottie @janmaki @zero_rhetoric @bfmassey @joshuakitz and @patjanik for the lovely comments on that photo.

BUMMER!!!!!! I was hoping get a shot of my shot, a shot of yours and Jani's that would have been cool. Apparently Jani has mugs that he expects to be on there......... Now, I am over analyzing things, and trying to figure out why this shot made it.

I'm not saying it's a bad shot. I just happen to think some of my others, like the sunset from my vacation are better, that's all. It's 10:00 at night, where am I gonna go to take photos? lol

@mej2011 yeah, I get that. Sometimes I'm surprised by which shots of mine people prefer over others too, art is a very subjective thing, I guess. And I don't know......you could start a month of selfies!! :)

@mej2011 I got some new followers from my selfie month, but at the same time I LOST quite a few, which kind of kicked my ego's ass a bit. But I guess some people didn't want to look at a whole month of my face, lol

Also, I remember a few of my shots way back when getting 11 or 12 fav's and still not making the pop page - actually that still happens now and then, so who's to say what goes on in the magic monkey's little minds.....
