I am trying, for the month of October, to make sure that the picture I post each day was actually taken on that day. I was up early enough today to see the sun come up. Unfortunately, we just put a sealer on our front porch, so I couldn't go outside to photograph it. I had to settle for photographing out of my bedroom window. I like the colors, but the composition and clarity are horrible.
The colours are marvellous and I actually like the painterly effect caused by the window. I share @pwallis 's love for the crooked sign but the pole lovin is not my thingy :-) For this kind of pic I tend to lower exposure in editing & maybe add contrast, makes silhouettes all black and the sky colors look deeper. Not saying that this one needs any editing, but if you want to give it a go...

Thanks Paula! It's interesting, You & Jani both like the crooked sign. I hate it. I wanted to crop it out, but that would have made the tree look strange.
