Oh look, another shot from the 10th. Hopefully tomorrow I'll get back to taking photos everyday. Editing for this photo consisted of Picnik's auto fix, Orton-ish, and 1960's Effect.
I am really really enjoying your park series! Fav'in this, it's a beautiful scene and your processing just adds to it. The only thing I would have changed is to rotate that shoreline a tad, but I'm ocd like that.
@mej2011 if you go under basic edits in Picnik, there's a rotate option where you can straighten horizons or just slightly crooked shots just a titch. That slightly crooked shoreline would have made me want to rotate just a tad to the left, til it was straight. And the way the geese are standing wouldn't have been affected by it (that's the only problem when you rotate) cause they're standing kind of in line with the shoreline. Did I explain that correctly?
@pwallis
Since I'm not familiar with the process, I have no idea if you explained it correctly or not. lol. However, you explained it in a way that I could understand. This is where Ace would come in handy I suppose because I could edit without losing comments. Again, I love your wordery. Oh, and the comments are being wonky. I just commented on yours and now it's gone.
@mej2011 what the hell? I wonder if I've inadvertently offended people when their comments go missing because they think I've deleted them or something. I see you faved it though:) Thanks lady!
@pwallis
No, I'm sure anyone on here is tech savvy enough to realize it's a fluke. I'm glad my fav is still there though. Really, isn't that all that matters? :)
@mej2011 well I like to read what it is people like or dislike about certain shots. I'm a big fan of the fav's, but I learn a little bit through each comment, unless it's just very generic.
@pwallis
In that case, I said I wasn't fond of the tree that seems to be coming out of the roof of a building on the right, but I suppose nothing could be done about that.
I also feel a need for slight rotate to left. The ripples in the water should be horizontal, then the pic is straight. But otherwise, love this ! Technically a good shot, lovely subject and the soft processing makes this quite a serene scene. Well done!

Rotate the shoreline a tad? Explain.

Oh. Well then I guess it's okay. lol. I wasn't sure if they were on the roof or just in the background.
Sure tease me about how pretty it is there. :)
Yeah...I'll get right on that.
