Well it's a sad day today. It seems as if my baby robin has decided that he/she is a grown up now and left home. Hopefully they stay safe.
The Black Bellied Squirrel was hanging out on my back porch eating sunflower seeds. A few times he even eyed the sunflower seed bucket inside the house and walked into the glass door trying to get in the house.
I think you got sharp focus on the eyes, and that's really what counts - plus it looks so retro and cool even without processing - how did you manage that? it actually kind of looks like a film shot.
@pwallis
See, I'm not happy with the eyes at all. I feel as if they could be sharper. Just in comparison to my most popular squirrel shot. http://365project.org/mej2011/365/2011-08-01
The vintage look is rather funny. It was cold in my house so I was wearing big puffy red house slippers. I wanted to get as close to the glass door as I could, so my feet are right up against the door. My feet happened to be approximately the same height as the squirrel, so what you are seeing as far as tones is the reflection from my red slippers. lol.
He actually sat there for about 20 minutes just eating...Thanks!
Really???? I feel like this shot is extremely blurry.

Thanks! I can't decide if I like it or not. lol
