Blue Jays are one of the greediest birds I've seen. They have no problem whatsoever chasing away other birds or eating peanut after peanut after peanut. And they're nosy too.

Jays are crows, smart and greedy. When I lived in Calgary, we had magpies, which are very much the same... pretty, smart, and greedy. always fun to watch, though.

make hay while the sun shines? I've been up since 5:30 a.m. so I have no idea what that means, but I'll take it as a good thing. :) We all know I hate 99.9% of my shots. Question, is it strange that I just stalked through @janim 's favs and am totally excited that this is the only bird shot he's fav;d? Again, been way for a really long time so I'm overly excited. Oh, another question, read any good drama lately? ;)
@mej2011 - making hay while the sun shines is an old phrase which basically means to be productive while the opportunity is there. Hay needs sun to grow so farmers will plant at the right time of year to make an opportunity of damp soil and warm sun.
