Robin by mej2011

Robin

Picked up a Newton's Cradle at a garage sale today, and spent about half an hour trying to photograph it's motion. Sadly, no luck.
Just happened to go into the kitchen when I saw this Robin hanging out on the porch.
Editing consisted a crop and auto exposure. The gray skies combined with the screen door have been doing weird things to my photos lately.
Now I'm off to do try and photograph some motion and muster up something for my Get Pushed challenge this week.
Very soft feel to this. Love that background dividing itself into thirds rather nicely.

How do you see things like that? I will never get it. lol.

You got so close, wow. The softness isn't a bad thing in this shot, and I like the tight crop. And Paula already said what I was thinking about the background, so no need to repeat that. :)

Yes, I think the softness works! I like it.

Seriously? My subject is that bad that ya'll notice the background? lol.
I don't know Jani, it looks like it's not proportional.
