My "Get Pushed" partner for the week, @mikegifford , challenged me with the theme of "determination". My mind immediately went to this wood carving that I found several years ago. It's not exactly a small piece and I can't even begin to imagine the time it took to create it.
Sadly, the photo showing the entire piece isn't that great. As always, my problem seems to be space. There is always something in my way of me getting a clear shot of just my focal piece.
Editing consisted of rotating the photos and creating the collage in Picmonkey.
Well I think you've met the challenge very well with your determination to show is your carving. It's an extraordinary piece, and I sympathise with your space problem - I really struggle at times, too but you've created a cool collage.
Hey Melissa, this is pretty neat. Looks like we are get pushed partner again. Last time I had you so selective colouring, this time I think rim light. Hope that works for you.
Sorry, I'm late with my Get Pushed challenge. We were so busy digging out from a foot of snow and going to see Christmas lights that I forgot until I saw another person post a their challenge picture. YIKES!
I am going to challenge you to take a very colorful photo of the season -- Christmas lights, Christmas tree, wrapped presents....whatever you want to take a picture of that shows the beautiful colors of the holidays. Good luck!
Hi Melissa,
Not sure if you are still doing the 365 as you haven't posted for 3 weeks and the challenges seem to have stacked up. Get back to me and let me know and then I'll think of a challenge for you...
Here is my attempt at your challenge! I hope it's okay.
May I have a "back up" challenge. I've only got a Nikon Coolpix p100 as equipment and I'm sure that is sufficient for this challenge?

I don't think you're late. Or if you are, I am too. ha! Thanks for the challenge, I"ll get to work.
