No hummingbirds today, but Mr./Ms. Squirrel has been having a little bird food feast for his/herself today.
Editing consisted of lightening up the exposure a little in Ribbet.
My warped sense of humor can't stop laughing at the thought of taking a photo of a Squirrel feasting on Bird Food, and editing it in a product called Ribbet. If this site were called "amoeba.com" it would complete the trip down the evolutionary ladder!

Which is more acceptable (or less noticeable) than grain? I did dial the ISO down a lot for this one. I'm just trying to find a balance of sorts.
You know, I don't mind a bit of grain to my shots - so I think it's a matter of opinion what's more or less acceptable. I mean obviously, if you're shooting in the day and have good light, you want to go with a lower ISO. But you do what you can. And I don't think the screen takes away from this shot - it kind of adds a bit of texture. But it definitely depends on the shot - some of them you want tack sharp and crystal clear, and you're just not going to get that shooting through a screen. But again, you do what you can:)
Must have just focused on the squirrel - didn't notice the screen until I read the comments - obviously wasn't a problem for me. Do love your shot of the squirrel, though. Love the focus you got on his eyes.
How's the grain here?

Thanks so much!
