@beckyk365@seacreature These are some kind of invasive Japanese rose, I think. They have nasty thorns that reach out and grab you as you pass. They're everywhere. They're even in the lawn. If the lawn wasn't mown regularly, it would be smothered by these things inside a month. They are lovely when in bloom which is only for a week but the flowers are not worth the aggravation and slash wounds. :)
@seacreature There are far too many and the birds spread the seeds all over. I've managed to get rid of them in a few places closer to the house. I had to keep cutting them back to the ground most of the summer before they finally gave up and died. They're tough little buggers.
