@seacreature Thanks. I loved doing these with my old Lumix because I could see what was happening on the view screen and paint accordingly. The Sony A57 screen goes black as soon as I press the shutter so I have no idea what's happening.
@meotzi I enjoy doing movement abstracts as well. Huge amount of fun but I've never seen it happening in my camera screen so the results are always a surprise
