@seacreature Lots of people use the dates they adopted their dogs for birthdays or adoptiversaries. Rocky's "birthday" is an approximation. He was about 7 months old when I adopted him. He was born out on the streets of Puerto Rico somewhere. The vet counted back and came up with February. The 14th is easy to remember. Valentine's Day.
Piki Dog's birthday is May 29th. The adoption agency had that on his papers so it's probably correct. But nobody could tell me where he had come from other than it was in Texas so who knows? I'll go with it.
