@narayani The leads are 20 foot and 15 foot retractable leashes. My yard is unfenced and the neighborhood gets a lot of traffic so they are mostly leashed. Rocky can go off lead sometimes. He's pretty steady except for cats and coyotes. Piki Dog loses his mind over everything so only goes off lead if he is tethered to Rocky.
@meotzi I can imagine that becoming quite a tangle! We have places here where dogs can go off lead...away from traffic - Tootsie has absolutely no road sense.
@narayani It usually is a tangle. Piki Dog has figured out how tie the leads together with an overhand knot. I'm practiced at holding both handles in one hand and my camera in the other. When the leads twist, I just do a salsa dance turn and untwist them.
