The pokeweed is coming on now. It's a huge, spreading plant with white flowers, hot raspberry pink stems and, eventually, purple-black berries with hot raspberry pink juice that stains. It would make a wonderful dye or ink but it's very fugitive.
@narayani@seacreature He might if he were big enough to get at the berries. The plants are very tall and the berries hang much high than Piki is tall. The only pink dog I've had was my jack russell when she chewed open a fluorescent pink highlighter pen and got it all over her white muzzle. Right before a conformation class, on the show trial grounds where it is forbidden to groom the dogs on pain of expulsion.
