Finally this patch of daylilies has put up some flower stalks after more than 10 years of nothing but verdant leaves. Must have heard me thinking I was going to dig them up.
@anniesue or the value of laziness. :D I think what happened is that my neighbor cut down some trees to the east of me and that allowed more light to hit that patch in the morning. I had thinned out the two huge trees that are overhead so now they get a bit more light
