Sorry you have lost a friend. Looks like such a pretty design. I am struggling to imagine how this will be a shawl unless it is folded in half into a semi-circle?
@seacreature Folded in half is generally how circle shawls are worn though I know there are several YouTube videos showing variations on that theme. If it's large enough, half of it can be gathered at the base of the neck and pulled up as a sort of hood.
