Parker River Wildlife Refuge

I needed a long and wide view of blue so I drove up to the refuge which I hadn't visited in a year. The birders were out in force with all their gear. The birds were around, too, but at 10AM they were mostly quiet.

Lovely. I know exactly what you mean about needing a long and wide view. Sometimes, when I used to live in the city suburbs I used to feel hemmed in by the houses and buildings around and started craving a wide open view
